As a non-profit organisation, Powell River Orphaned Wildlife Society relies on your generosity to rescue and rehabilitate injured and orphaned wildlife in the Powell River region. From Nelson Island to Bliss Landing, and from Khartoum Lake to Savary and Texada Islands, we do whatever we can to rescue them all.
Your donations go directly to the care of the animals for food, housing, medical supplies and transportation. There are no salaries and no conractors – we are all volunteers. These animals not only take a lot of care, they gobble up resources, which is why your support is so important. Your small donation makes a big difference.
Here are several ways you can make your donation.
