HOUSE FINCHES are vulnerable to conjunctivitis (pink eye) and PROWLS has treated a few recently with antibiotics and ophthalmic ointment.
They must be either very lethargic because of the disease or involved in another accident-in one case, a window strike-to enable being rescued.
All are doing well and eager for release after their antibiotic treatment. When moved into the group enclosure, the newcomer is often recognized by the others offering cheerful chirps.
