It is March already, and everyone in the wildlife rehabilitation world
is gearing up for this year’s babies. As part of our preparations,
Merrilee has been talking with MARS Wildlife Rescue Centre near Courtenay about our fawns and raccoon kits, who we are currently unable to accommodate at our small facility.
They have very generously offered to take both – at least until they are themselves overwhelmed. They are still working on expanding their fawn facilities, in part with us in mind.
So, please, please, consider donating to them for this essential project! We cannot keep the fawns here, and we do not want to impose on the goodwill of another struggling wildlife centre.
