No winter would be complete without a bat! This little brown bat was caught up under some siding where it was sheltering from the weather.
Dehydrated and thin, with a wound on his tiny wing, he was sent off to MARS Wildlife Rescue Centre. He spent the trip hanging on a towel on the side of the container, with food in easy reach.
The prognosis was good, and we look forward to returning him once he is strong and hunting again.
